On June 8, 2021 the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie – BSH) held a discussion hearing in the process to examine the suitability of sites N-3.5, N-3.6 and N-7.2. The drafts of the suitability examination, the determination of suitability and the environmental reports published on March 12, 2021 as well as aspects from the comments received were presented. The participants had the opportunity to discuss the contents of the suitability examination including the strategic environmental assessment carried out in the process.
The documents are now being revised on the basis of the comments and the discussion hearing. For the draft of the determination of suitablility (draft of the Second Ordinance on the Implementation of the Wind Energy at Sea Act) the BSH plans to carry out the departmental, state and association consultation in the fall of this year.
Site N-7.2 will be put out to tender in calender yeat 2022 according to the Site Development Plan 2020. Sites N-3.5 and N-3.6 are to be put out to tender by the Federal Network Agency in 2023 (Bundesnetzagentur – BNetzA).
