On the 10th of December 2020, the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) hosted a workshop with participants from Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom.
At this meeting, the first results of two shipping studies were presented from the contractors and discussed in the group. In the morning, the focus was on shipping in SN10 (transit shipping route through the German exclusive economic zone), in the afternoon the results of a North Sea-wide analysis were presented. The group agreed to deal with the topic in greater depth in a working group in the coming years.
