On the 07th of August 2020, the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) defined the investigation framework for the site investigation and strategic environmental assessment of sites for offshore wind farms. The documents for sites N-6.6 and N-6.7 in the North Sea Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) were published on the BSH website. The sites are to be put out to public tender in 2024 for development by third parties.
