In the process to revise the objectives and principles of spatial planning for the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Communicty (BMI) sent a letter to authorities and associations on the 11th of June 2019, thus officially initiating the process of revising the spatial plans for the EEZ. The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) is evaluating the contributions which were received and will take them into account in the plan revision process.
