Following the submission to the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) by Windbostel Ost GmbH of an application to initiate the plan approval procedure under the Offshore Wind Energy Act (WindSeeG) for the construction and operation of the ‘Windbostel Ost’ offshore wind farm in the North Sea Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), the plan documents were publicly displayed from 15.12.2025 to 14.01.2026, with a deadline for objections set at 16.02.2026.
The announcement regarding the public display of the plan documents had already indicated that an online consultation would take place from 20.03.2026. These dates were cancelled in a notice dated 19.03.2026.
The online consultation will now take place from Friday, 10.04.2026 at 00:00 until Thursday, 23.04.2026 at 24:00 inclusive.
