As part of the preparation of the site development plan 2023 and the ongoing revision various expansion scenarios for offshore wind energy were analysed for expected energy yield by the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES assigned by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency. In addition to the already published reports, results of these analyses can now be accessed via the GeoSeaPortal.
