The regulation in § 69 (1) WindSeeG (in the version of 01.01.2023) stipulates that in future an expert opinion must be submitted at least twelve weeks before the start of construction to prove compatibility with the minimum requirements of the Standard Design. For procedures within the scope of application of § 69 (1) WindSeeG the previously known approval regime (1st to 3rd approval) in accordance with the Standard Design will no longer apply.
The BSH is therefore providing an information sheet on the certification program that has been agreed with the certifiers. This is intended to outline the certification process in the new system and provide guidelines for a transition phase. The background to this is that as part of the certification process, conformity (compliance with the minimum requirements of the Standard Design) is declared not only with regard to the technical requirements of the Standard Design, but also with regard to a certification program. The current version of the Standard Design does not yet include a certification program for the preparation of the overall assessment in accordance with § 69 (1) WindSeeG, as the current standard includes the existing approval system. Until the next update of the Standard Design comes into force, the certification program will therefore be specified in an information sheet on a transitional basis.
The information sheet on the certification program can be downloaded from the BSH website. Please take note of this in the procedures.
