Norway’s government has sent Germany the notification for the planned offshore wind farm project “Southern North Sea II” with grid connection to the Norwegian national grid, about 180 kilometers from the Norwegian and 190 kilometers from the Danish coast. The project comprises a large offshore wind farm with 60 to 100 wind turbines with a total capacity of 1,500 MW.
