The regulation in § 69 (1) WindSeeG (in the version of 01.01.2023) stipulates that in future an expert opinion must be submitted at least twelve weeks before the start of construction to prove compatibility with the minimum requirements of the Standard Design. For procedures within the scope of application of § 69 (1) WindSeeG the previously known approval regime (1st to 3rd approval) in accordance with the Standard Design will no longer apply.
The German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) is therefore providing a template, agreed with the certifiers, for the preparation of the expert opinion in accordance with § 69 (1) sentence 2 WindSeeG (so-called overall expert opinion) as well as a leaflet with information on the preparation of the overall expert opinion and the template expert opinion.Please take note of this in the procedures.
