After the site development plan 2023 and the associated environmental reports have been made public on 20.01.2023, further sites are required for the expansion of offshore wind energy in order to achieve the expansion targets pursuant to Sec. 1 para. 2 WindSeeG. A new revision of the site development plan (FEP) is required to designate these sites.
The initiation of the procedure was announced on 01.09.2023. At the same time, a preliminary draft of the site development plan and a draft of the scope for the strategic environmental assessment to be carried out within the procedure were published on the BSH website.
With the announcement, the opportunity to comment on the draft documents is given within the context of an online consultation. On Thursday 02.11.2023 an additional online video conference will take place.
