The third meeting of the planning authorities in the North Sea Region took place on the 24th of June 2020. Participants represented planning authorities from Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Sweden and the North Sea Commission. The group met for the first time in January 2020, with the additional attendance of Belgium and Ireland; for now the focus of discussion is a possible structure for a more permanent collaboration. For this purpose, draft terms of reference were developed and discussed in the group. A follow-up meeting is planned for early fall.
