The BSH has received an application by the companies Amprion Offshore GmbH and Amprion GmbH for the planning approval procedure according to the Offshore Wind Energy Act for the construction and operation of the offshore grid-connection system „BalWin2 and BalWin beta“ in the German EEZ of the North Sea. On the basis of this application and a corresponding initial examination, the BSH concludes that a planning approval procedure with public participation must be carried out due to the circumstances of the individual case.
