Transboundary participation according to Section 59 para. 1 Environmental Impact Assessment Act on the transboundary environmental impact assessment regarding three offshore windfarms in the “IJmuiden Ver” wind energy area in the in the dutch Exclusive Economic Zone of the North Sea

On November 22, 2024, the Dutch Ministry of Climate Policy sent Germany the notification regarding the draft parcel decisions for 3 offshore wind farms in the “IJmuiden Ver” wind energy area in the Dutch Exclusive Economic Zone of the North Sea. The IJmuiden Ver wind energy area is located 62 kilometers west of the North Holland coast. The project area will have a total capacity of 6,000 megawatts.s.
